Ugh. I feel truly stiff and tired
this morning. The bus arrived here in New Jersey at about six thirty this morning
and I’d barely slept all night. Sharona was trying to rest on me and I didn’t
move for fear of disturbing her, so my back and shoulders slowly turned to
stone.
She’s
gone now. Her flight was at nine thirty. She couldn’t book the same flight
as us, only the same day. I think I might have been a bit detached with her as
she left to board the plane. It can’t have been proper encouragement for a girl
who’s in the process of giving up so much but I just couldn’t summon up the
right mood after the horrible journey last night and Annabell’s email.
Ed
and I are boarding our own plane shortly, perhaps I’ll
get some decent rest then.
